◆ The Playfair Society ◆
An Evening of Murder & Deduction
The murder-mystery dinner game
you host in your own living room.
Open a room and your guests join from their phones — no app, no installs, no accounts. The evidence arrives course by course, you argue it out across the table, and you name the killer. Every case is provably fair: the clues point to exactly one suspect, and we can prove it.
How an evening unfolds
- Open a room. One tap gives you a room code and a share link.
- Your guests join by phone. Send the link — no downloads, no sign-ups.
- The evidence is served. Each player holds different clues, so you have to talk. Name the killer early and you score more.
- The verdict. The culprit is unmasked with the airtight chain that named them — then a fresh case is dealt. Every one is new.
Why it's not like the others
- Provably fair. Most mystery games leave you guessing and the reveal feels arbitrary. Every Playfair case is machine-verified — the evidence forces one answer. No "how was I supposed to know?"
- A new case every time. The mystery is never the same twice, so one kit lasts a hundred nights.
- A real cipher in every case. The Society's namesake Playfair cipher hides the breakthrough clue — crack the code to crack the case.
- Made for a table. Date night, game night, dinner parties — two players or a roomful.
